on the fence

The title of this project is a bit of a play on words.  We’ve all heard or used the phrase “on the fence” trying to make up our minds about something.  What about an alternate meaning of the work “on” when we are talking about or referring to something?  Especially here on the high plains of New Mexico the winds carry many things into the fencing to create all sorts of interesting things to contemplate.  Farmers and ranchers are always hanging things on the fence lines for various reasons.  Think about the stories in your life that these images may bring to mind as you spend time with them.
